Seth + Lesley's Consultation Comes to Life
As you may know, we launched a consultation package on the 1st of the year! Heather and I have been planning weddings in Music City since 2014. We don’t know it all— but we have learned a few things in these past 5 years. We have worked with dozens of vendors and we know what to expect when planning an event. Our consultation package gives the couple a list of vendors that we know and trust and suit the couple’s style and budget. We also put together an inspiration board which is incredibly helpful with booking a florist and rental company.
Right before we launched, I gifted a consultation package to Seth and Lesley. For their April wedding ceremony, the booked The Hermitage Chapel and their reception would be at a park. They were inviting less than 30 guests, very close friends and immediate family. I was honored to be there as their photographer.
So, for their nuptials, I gave them suggestions on rentals, flowers and decor items. Their inspiration board looked like this:
The chapel at The Hermitage is a minimalist, historic chapel. It’s absolutely beautiful on its own but a few florals gave it a beautiful pop! The florals were re-used at the reception site, a great cost-saving tip that we’ve used at even our most extravagant weddings. Lesley and Seth did a beautiful job pulling in Lesley’s favorite colors and utilizing some inexpensive but beautiful touches to decorate the guest tables at the park.
Seth and Lesley utilized the concrete tables at the park. Most people might cover them with linens but concrete is a trend that I’m currently obsessed with. A lavender runner, some feminine plates and a few candles carried on the minimalist look that the intimate day called for. I just loved the way it turned out.
Guests munched on Stroud’s BBQ and cake from Publix and got home before dark. It was such a sweet day!
Lesley had this to say about the experience:
★★★★★
Working with Music City Events for a consultation has been a phenomenal experience! Lindsy listened to our personal style and vision. She then took our ideas to develop a coherent theme for the wedding. We especially enjoyed being paired with vendors that could carry out the ultimate vision for our day. The additional suggestions to use items we could incorporate in our future home has been delightful.”
