Lyndsey Golden
Owner
Hey! I’m Lyndsey. My love for all things weddings, events, and socials began in my teenage years and quickly grew into my passion. After high school, I attended my dream school (the University of Alabama and, yes...Roll Tide) for Hospitality Management and Interior Design. These two programs taught me how to take your dreams and beautifully design and create your event.
My years at Alabama introduced me to the Music City Events team in the Spring of 2016 when I interviewed for an internship with them. It was a dream of mine to pack up my jeep and move to Music City, and what an incredible life-changing experience it was. Music City Events solidified any doubts as to what my passions were in life. My true love is serving and helping those who enter my life. The wedding and event industry allows me to do just that on the biggest day of your life. Over the years, MCE has remained a staple for me as I often returned to assist and coordinate with many of their events. In 2020, I returned to Alabama to work on my Masters in Hospitality Management. While designing and planning have always been my main focus, I have dabbled in wedding photography, floral design, venue management, and floral preservation, all of which taught me how to make your wedding day even more special!
In 2022, our previous owner Lindsy decided to let Music City Events become someone else’s dream. A few texts, calls, and emails later, I became Music City Events’ owner. My career became full circle as the company that invested in me as an intern is now mine. This company has given me a love for Nashville, and I am proud to carry on its legacy.
I am a designer and servant at heart. I love to share your story through crafting events that feel unique and represent each client while bringing peace and calmness to the special day. I can’t wait to chat more with all of you that come across Music City Events. I hope we can serve you through this exciting, joyful time of your life.

Growing up watching "Father of the Bride" on repeat, I always dreamed of having a wild, magical wedding. After graduating from Belmont University, I married my college sweetheart at Walt Disney World in April 2015. Our wedding was an elaborate celebration with multiple receptions, surprise Disney character visits, a confetti cannon, and fireworks!
Planning a detailed destination wedding and blogging about my experience sparked my interest in event-coordinating. I loved providing brides with helpful information and emotional support so they could plan their fairytale day (be it at Disney or my hometown Nashville) with confidence. Inspired to learn from the experts themselves, I started assisting weddings with Music City Events in 2016. Since then, I have worked with some of Nashville's top rated wedding planners. Spring of 2018, I was the lead coordinator for two wedding events in Napa Valley, California with Music City Events.
One of my favorite aspects of working with Music City Events is the organization and smoothness of their events. They are masters at balancing professionalism and play. It is a joy to execute their designs.
In addition to coordinating weddings, I love creating calligraphy and custom designs for brides through my art business Catie Bee Art. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, a good spin class, and horseback riding.

Originally from Michigan, I moved to the Nashville area in October 2006 for a change of pace from my small-town life. I met my husband through a mutual friend in 2007 outside Tootsies on Broadway. Ironically I didn't realize he was "the one" until 3 years later.
I have always loved being creative and have a background in fine arts. I feel like weddings, venues in particular, are basically a big blank canvas that you get to get creative with. It wasn't until 2012 that I decided to take my love of weddings and make it into my career. I enrolled in the Meeting and Events Planning Certification program at Belmont University in the spring of 2012.
I live for the details. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. When all the tiny details come together, it makes the big picture so much sweeter. I want them to walk away at the end of the night truly happy with their day.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our two girls, spending time decorating our home with interesting finds from antique stores or locally-owned stores, and getting crafty with fun DIY projects.
