Personal Touches That Will Wow Your Guests

When we first get to meet our couples, we always ask them to define their “must-haves”. We want to know what the most important elements are for their big day. For some, it’s a great band and hours of dancing. For others, it’s delicious food. But, time and time again, the top answers are a great guest experience and for the event to feel “like us”. There are so many opportunities to add your own personality and style to an event, simultaneously sharing who you are as a couple with the guests you’ve invited to be a part of your very special day. Here are a few of our recent favorite personal touches that will “WOW” your guests and make your event truly unforgettable.

Fun Activities

More than a photo booth, give your guests a unique experience to remember your event by.

Ever go to a wedding and wonder who knows the bride and who knows the groom? Cindy + Jonathan took the guessing game away and set out color coded pins for their guests. Since many of their guests knew them as a couple, or met them at the same time, the sign read: Who Did You Meet First?

Serve Your Favorite Foods and Drinks

Cindy and Jonathan love Boba Tea so they asked their favorite Bubble Tea store, The Royal Boba, in Franklin, Tennessee, to set up a boba tea station during the couples’ cocktail hour at Long Hollow Gardens.

Nick and Jocasta incorporated cheese curds and sliders, from Chef Penelope, during their cocktail hour at East Ivy Mansion, paying homage to Nick’s home state of Wisconsin. They also served Spin Wheels Cotton Candy during their reception and guests had a blast eating this sweet treat while dancing!

Below, a custom champagne stand, using Music City Tents & Events shelving served as a welcome station for guests.

Custom Signage

Custom Signage is always a good way to share your story with your guests. Paper goods are an uprising trend and we’ve loved all the ways that our clients are using menus, programs, guest books and welcome signs to make a statement and add a personal touch to their event.

Nick + Jocasta ordered a picture of the night sky on key dates in their journey together as a couple. It served as a guest book and will hang in their home for years to come.
