~ Old World Hollywood ~ Magazine Shoot

Nashville Magazine Photography – Pink Bride Magazine Shoot

{Gown – Arzelle’s. Flowers- Branching Out Floral}

I had the amazing opportunity to work with the Pink Bride Magazine again for a style shoot at the Schermerhorn Center here in Nashville, TN.

Shot by Erin Lee of The Collection photography, she chose Old World Hollywood as the concept of the shoot. The architecture and decor of the Schermerhorn would be best complimented by a Golden Age of Hollywood shoot. And with the help of Angie Commons of Pink Bride, Bruce Pittman of the Schermerhorn Center, myself (Music City Events), and other fabulous vendors, we created an amazing photo spread! The models were sweet and wonderful to work with. After 10 hours together, we were more like old friends and even found each other on FB at the end of the shoot. :)

Not including set up and all the preparation time, the actual shoot itself took 10 hours. Below are some of the photographs from that day! Thanks so much, Erin, for sharing these with us!

I chose the birdcage veil to go with this dress because the Swiss dots in the birdcage veil complimented the teensy swiss dot pattern on the lace of this gorgeous gown. It's details like this that take things to the next level!

Love love love this dress - the ruffles and shoulder detail are stunning! Very glamorous, very sleek and chic!

We decided to stage a wedding in the courtyard. Special thanks to Vicki with Branching Out Floral for the whole setup! The behind the scenes crew joined in like champs to help us create wedding guests for this photo.

The Poker scenes were some of my favorite. I was in the middle of setting up the poker game when the guys decided to jump in and start a REAL game! Notice the bride is winning. ;)

We needed another model to balance this photograph out so I jumped in! :) Sigh. You do what you've got to do! ha! I chose to mix the bridesmaids dresses between red and black as a nod to the modern bridesmaid. She wants to look elegant too! Brides, this will be a huge trend in 2012!
