Little Black Dress Revue Recap
Last Thursday evening brides and grooms gathered at the Noah Liff Opera Center for a swanky cocktail evening with tasty food from Two Fat Men Catering, music by the NashVegas All Stars and a chance to win $5000 in wedding goodies. With dismal weather forecasts, the gods were on the side of events hosts Gregory Byerline (of Gregory Byerline Photography) and Sarah Willard (of Music City Events) as the storms held off and the event went on without a hitch. Set within the dramatics of the Noah Liff Opera Center, guests travel up a spiraled stair case to the Grand Lobby where floor to ceiling windows are offset here by impressive light fixtures.
Moving into the Opera Studio, soothing tones of purple and sexy pinks created a sultry setting for the night's event with floral accents from Belles Fleurs. Displaying contrasting looks, brides found ideas leaning towards the modern and chic to soft and vintage seen below. Overall, inspirations abound and with so much flexibility within the centrally located venue (allowing for the client to bring in other wedding vendors of their choosing) and a capacity of 250 ppl, the Noah Liff Center is worth checking out.
After a sweet slice from Maples Wedding Cakes and taking the last sips of my expertly crafted cocktail (bartending was provided by Hamilton Bartending Services), I darted out into the chilly air, thankful that the valet there to bring my car around (a must for this venue). Congrats to the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Hall on winning the $5000 grand prize,! Can't wait until next LBD Revue!
